I hope you were able to spend time with family and friends this holiday season. Here’s something we did this year that everyone really enjoyed:
December Tip – Share Print Photos with Family and Friends
I like to put out a few printed photos and photo books for family and friends to enjoy. It seemed everyone who came to visit picked them up to take a look. They were starters for many conversations about things we have done, and surprisingly, have sparked conversations about what we would like to do this year and in the future. Put out a few of your own photos and enjoy where the conversations take you!
Cool Tech
As I was building my business wish list this year, I came across some cool tech to share with you:
- Nixplay Digital Frame – share your pictures with family and friends, you can even update their frame over the web.
- SmugMug Subscription – this is a great way to share your pictures with family near and far, also a terrific cloud backup for your photo collection
- Not enough USB ports on the new laptop? Satechi Aluminum Multi-Port USB-C Adapter solves all that!
- Anker PowerCore Lite Portable Charger – can provide 2 ½ charges for most smart phones.
- SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive – great idea for backing up photos and videos while travelling!
- Gnarbox Portable Backup and Editing System – for Action cams, DSLRs and drones – rugged backup solution with direct memory card input ports and wifi connectivity.
- GoPro Hero series -waterproof digital action cameras, waterproof with touchscreen
- Canon Ivy Wireless Mini Photo Printer – print 2”x3” photos with peel and stick backing directly from your smartphone
- Qi Wireless Phone Charging Stand – props up your phone for easier hands-free viewing and face timing.
- WD My Passport 4TB Hard Drive – OK, not as cool but being able to backup your entire computer and having all those files within reach is!
2019 New Year’s Resolution Course – Creating an Annual Family Photo Book
It’s important to get our pictures off our phones and into our hands (and the hands of our spouses and children). Our 2019 New Year’s Resolution Course will walk you through all the steps to create your own Annual Family Photo Book. This four-week course will consist of lessons emailed directly to your inbox each Friday. Each lesson is packed full of information about creating an Annual Photo Book and the process is broken down into a few tasks for you to complete each week. By the end of four weeks you will be printing your photo book and eagerly awaiting its arrival.
The course will begin on Friday, January 18, giving us a chance to get back into our regular routines before tackling this fun and important resolution. Registration is open now – visit the Contact Us page and let us know you’re interested!
